It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go;
Same tunes playing, again and again
Relatives being a pain.
Bizarre sunshine and not a flake of snow
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Elf on the Shelf galore
But the prettiest sight to see, is the bottle of bubbly
That your bestie, brings right to your door
Cooking when drunk, is a little crapshoot
Remembering the what and the when;
Oldies insist on walking it off
When you’d rather be hitting the gin;
And you just can’t wait, for the tree to come down and the house be tidy again
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Everywhere you go;
There’s a Grotto in every town, in the garden centres as well,
With an entrance fee, that’s strictly need-to-know.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas;
Soon the chaos will start,
Family and Friends, with the treats they bring.
Home Alone, playing over the din
Think it’s time to depart
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Elf on the Shelf galore
But the prettiest sight to see, is the bottle of bubbly
That your bestie, brings right to your door
Sure it’s Christmas once more…
Good luck everyone.
Merry Christmas!
